Admission Criteria
Young people (male or female) will be aged between 12 and their 18th birthday.
Young people admitted to Companions' will have met the criteria which states that the young person would have the willingness and motivation to reside at 'Companions' and engage in the programme.
For young people who require a detoxification program this would need to be completed prior to admission to Hunters Moon.
Consideration will be given to existing residents and we will not accept new referrals should we assess the admission would have an adverse affect on other young people in our care.
Placements will be dependent upon the outcome of a period of assessment from the referring body and an assessment of the appropriateness of the placement.
At all times there will be one member of staff to one young person however 2:1 could be facilitated should this be necessary.
We can not accept: fire-setters or sex offenders.
